Top ten books I feel differently about after time has passed

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme featured at The Broke and The Bookish

Today's Top Ten Tuesday theme is books I feel differently about after time has passed.

1.) Catcher in the rye by J.D. Salinger -- didn't really like it when I read it in high school but now I have since grown to appreciate it.

2.) Many Waters by Madeleine L'Engle -- I absolutely love anything by Madeleine L'Engle, but I recently re-read this book and found it incredibly irresponsible of the Mother-Scientist to cook in the lab.

3.) Harry potter series by J.K. Rowling -- I probably love the books even more every time I read them because some new little connection to other books comes to my attention.

4.) The name of the rose by Umberto Ecco -- Didn't get past the first chapter or so the first time I read it, but then brought it on a plane with me a few years ago and devoured the whole thing.

5.) I don't know if this counts but I am afraid to read The Secret History by Donna Tartt again because I read it while I was in college (and loved it) and I recently read a review about it that suggests it may not hold up to re-reading.
